Great 8 – Chasing Whitetails

Chase was here earlier this year and played chess with a 160″+ deer, seeing him 3 out of 6 days. He arrived back here on Friday and almost immediately was able to punch a tag as possibly the same buck emerged at 40 yards behind the brush scent checking a corn pile we had 100 yards away. No shot presented itself. On his 3rd day, he settled back into the timber and at 10:45 am when most people are out of the stand, Chase was about to unleash fury. He hit the rattling antlers as hard as he could and this buck came charging in looking for a fight. Chase made a good shot and watched the buck fall in sight. Congrats Chase on your 3rd deer with us.
